The latest renovation of the Marine Mart at one of the largest Marine Corps bases in the United States is now complete. Stellar has completed its $2.6 million design-build renovation project of the Stuart Mesa MCX Marine Mart at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. Renovations to the 5,871-square-foot building include new life safety systems, including fire protection and fire alarm systems; removal and replacement of walk-in/walk-in coolers and freezers; replacing the central HVAC system with a new 12.5-ton AC unit; updated interior finishes with new floors, ceilings, paint and colors; removal of contaminated materials and repair of roof leaks; replacing flat roofs with new TPO roof systems; repainting the exterior of the building, resurfacing the parking lot, and reconfiguring ramps and other features to comply with Architectural Barriers Act (ABA) standards. OnPoint Development, a San Diego-based retail, real estate and industrial development company, plans to build an industrial building at 2351 Myers St. up to 68,000 square meters. The innovative design building will be OnPoint's first industrial development project in San Diego County. The company aims to provide quality industrial space with the latest design features and facilities that cater to a variety of growing businesses. Construction is scheduled to begin this summer, with a spring 2022 completion date. The building will have 26-foot clear heights, up to six high loading doors and 4,000 to 6,000 square feet of mezzanine space.
